South G4

  • With 1698 channels and an improved multi-satellite positioning algorithm, G4 can track available satellites faster and capture weak signals.
  • Therefore, it has a better success rate and speed in obtaining fixed solutions in dense forests or surrounded by buildings, compared to the previous generation of products.
  • Farlink keeps updating for better performance. The core components, firmware, and working parameters of radios are updated at least twice a year.
  • Redesign indicators (icon and color) and a new conspicuous yellow bodywork according to users' advice and feedback.

Rugged RTK GNSS Receiver - South G4

The SOUTH Galaxy G4 is a rugged, high-precision RTK GNSS receiver designed for professional surveying, land management, and construction applications. It supports 1,698 tracking channels across multiple satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and more, delivering centimeter-level accuracy and fast RTK fixes in under 10 seconds. The G4 features a 4th-generation IMU tilt sensor with up to 60° tilt compensation, improving measurement efficiency by allowing pole movement without recalibration. Built tough with an IP68-rated magnesium alloy housing, it withstands 2-meter drops and operates in harsh temperatures from −40 °C to +65 °C. With a battery life of up to 20 hours in static mode and versatile connectivity options like UHF radio, 4G, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC, the G4 is ideal for demanding fieldwork in both rover and base station roles.
